Beauty Acupuncture

Also known as Cosmetic or Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.

Acupuncture has recently had a lot of positive press in this field.  You will find that just a few treatments can make a noticeable difference.  Beauty begins from within, so one of the main things considered is the condition of the internal organs.  They are responsible for the nourishment of the entire body, skin and face.  The face is a reflection of your internal health.

How Cosmetic Acupuncture works

Cosmetic acupuncture emerged (among other places) in the 1980’s in Hong Kong where patients received acupuncture for facial paralysis where is was discovered that after a few weeks of acupuncture, the side that received the treatment became remarkably less wrinkled.  Following study, it was concluded that acupuncture stimulates the regeneration of skin cells, collagen production, tightens the skin and stimulates blood flow which also moisturises.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is not the same as traditional body acupuncture and uses micro needles that do not penetrate deeper that the dermis and epidermis.

Effectiveness will vary between people and even though you can achieve very good results that can last for a considerable time, facial rejuvenation acupuncture cannot compete with cosmetic surgery from the perspective of immediate external visible results.  What sets this natural method apart is the emphasis on internal health.  Let your body shine from the radiance within you.

Apart from the slight risk of local bruising and very minor bleeding, there are no side-effects.  Even one treatment can make a noticeable difference but to be most effective, a  course of five to ten treatments is recommended.
